The story behind the coffee. the coffee behind the people.

We've teamed up with Filipina artists and business owners for a special, limited edition run of merchandise exclusively for Filipino-American History month. The artwork, illustrated by Bay Area-based artist Niki Waters, depicts the Philippine countryside from where we source our coffee, and the farmers who bring the land to fruition.

When COVID-19 hit in early 2020, it impacted the limited availability of Philippine specialty coffee internationally. In an effort to create a more sustainable coffee product, we shifted from focusing on single-origin coffee and created our very first blend the Philippines Kalsada Blend No. 1 sourced from Jungle Asian™ nations including the Philippines, Thailand, Myanmar, and Sulawesi.

This special edition merchandise celebrates not only this coffee blend born out of necessity, but also it’s embodiment of the Filipino bayanihan spirit of communal unity and support, especially in times of crisis. It was important for us to renew our commitment to the health, safety, and economic livelihood of our staff, partnerships, and especially the farmers from whom we source this coffee.
