How should I store the ube cookies? How long will they last?
How long can you resist the temptation of devouring all the cookies in one sitting? Our ube cookies should be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week. Do not store the cookies in the refrigerator. They will become cold and tough like my soul.
How should I store the cheesecakes? How long will they last?
It is best to store the cheesecakes in an airtight container in the refrigerator or freezer. Our cheesecakes are good for:
3 to 4 hours outside of the fridge,
5 days inside of the fridge,
or stored in the freezer for up to one month.
Do I eat the buko pie warmed up or cold?
Yes.
How do I reheat the buko pie?
We recommend heating the buko pie for 10-15 minutes in a 350 degree oven. Both pie crust and filling are fully cooked so use color of streusel topping as your indicator of desired doneness. If you can’t wait for the oven to preheat, you can also do 20-30 seconds in a microwave for a slice. And if you can’t wait that long either, eating cold from the fridge is totally fine too!
How about the ube cookie dough?
How about it, am I right? It will last up to 2 weeks in the refrigerator or in the freezer for up to 2 months if frozen by the ‘use by’ date printed on the package.
How do I bake the ube cookie dough?
Pre-heat your oven to 325°F
Place cookie dough rounds (tablespoon size) 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet
Bake for 10-14 minutes, depending on your desired doneness
How do I bake a frozen bake-at-home buko pie?
Pre-heat your oven to 375°F
Bake for 40 minutes
Check at 30 minutes and continue baking to your desired doneness (browning of topping)
Coffee
How should I store whole bean coffee?
Whole bean coffee should be stored in an airtight container at room temperature, ideally in a container with a silicone ring but any container that is dry and away from humidity will work. You can store your coffee in the original flavor lock bag. However, you should roll it down from the top removing as much air as possible and seal it tight with tape.
Does whole bean coffee expire?
Whole bean coffee that has not been opened or ground should last you approximately 3 months. Our coffee bags contain a flavor lock valve that allows for the roasted coffee to slow down the oxidation process. Once you have opened your bag of coffee, we recommend brewing it and consuming it immediately or within the course of 1 week to ensure quality and maximize freshness.
Shipping
Do you ship to ______?
We normally ship anywhere in the US and Canada, including Hawaii and Alaska for select items only. We do not ship international orders outside of the US and Canada at this time.
When do you ship orders?
We ship out orders 2-3 times per week. All orders including whole roasted coffee beans are shipped weekly on Wednesdays for orders received the previous Friday. Whole coffee beans are roasted to order.
How will I know when my order has been shipped?
Once your order is processed and shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number. We ship all orders through our good friends at USPS using First Class or Priority Mail which takes 1-3 business days. Due to COVID-19, please be aware that you may experience shipping delays.
Can you ship the cheesecakes though?
No, we do not ship our cheesecakes or any other refrigerated desserts. It’s a long and hard journey out there for cold-held food and we cannot bear to send you a busted cheesecake. You deserve better.
