PAYMENT AND PAYMENT TERMS
A 50% deposit is required to hold the date, and start the preparations for your event. Any remaining balance will be due one month prior. Your payments validate your signature and agreement to the Terms of Service of this contract. If payment of final balance has not been received by the payment deadline, we reserve the right to terminate the agreement. In such event, we will have no further obligation hereunder and any deposits made to date will not be refunded. Please make checks payable to Hood Famous Bakeshop and send via mail to 504 5th Ave S. Suite 107A. Seattle WA 98104.

CANCELLATIONS
Cancellation Policy - If you notify us of a cancellation at least 30 days prior to the event, we will refund half of your deposit. No refunds of the deposit will be given after that date, however we appreciate you giving as much notice as possible and if we are able to re-book your date, we will apply half of the amount of your un-refunded deposit to a future event.

GUEST COUNT CHANGES
Changes to your final order:  dessert quantities (increases only), flavors, etc will be accepted until 30 days prior to the event date. After that lockout date we cannot accept any changes. No monies will be refunded in the event your order decreases in size.

DELIVERY & SET UP
Standard Set up/Delivery for Dessert Tables: $150
This fee includes delivery to the location (within 20 miles of our Chinatown-International District location) as well as set up of all desserts. It does not include stand and platter rentals. This fee is typical for dessert tables with a guest count of 85-150 with the arrangement/set up of 150-500 individual desserts. Additional fees will apply for larger dessert tables, additional staffing, and increased mileage.

Dessert Table Stand & Platter Rentals: $175-$500

The stand and platter rental fee is required if Standard Set Up & Delivery is chosen. Rentals for Dessert Table stands and platters typically ranges from $175-$500. Rental items are grouped into a single fee, as items will be selected on a case-by-case basis. Hood Famous will work with your party style and choose items that best complement your event theme and color scheme. This rental fee includes the safe packaging and post-cleaning of items as well as in-house planning. Planning is necessary to ensure that we provide the appropriate number and size of display items to best showcase all of your tasty desserts and dessert varieties. We will also coordinate with you or your planner the appropriate table size that will accommodate all selections. Increased rental may apply for larger parties. We do not do custom styling at this time.

Return/Break Down Fee: $75
The return fee for break down/pick up of all inventory/rental items can be WAIVED if party wishes to return rental items (to our main office located in the Chinatown/International District - 308 6th Ave S, Seattle, WA 98104). Hood Famous will provide a box/bin with bubble wrap so that items can be safely stored following the event. This box will include an inventory list with return instructions. (Items should be returned that following Tuesday-Thursday 10AM-4:45PM)

If the client does not wish to return items, then Hood Famous can return for pick up of items.  Hood Famous will work with the venue to pick up during our normal weekday business hours Monday-Friday  (9AM-5PM), however, the client will then be responsible for packing up items at the end of the event if end time of event is outside of our normal business hours. There is a $75 return/pick up fee within 20 miles.

Client will be responsible for the replacement value of any lost, stolen or damaged rental items. The estimated value of rental items will be included in a separate contract & and inventory list with return instructions will be provided.

Delivery Only: $75
This fee includes delivery only to the location (within 20 miles of our Chinatown-International District location). Additional fees may apply for larger catering orders and increased mileage.

Weather/Acts of God
Hood Famous Bakeshop is not responsible for any conditions that would affect the quality of the product or service such as rain, wind, hail, snow, ice, heat (outdoor weddings) etc. In the event of major weather changes such as earthquakes, we will provide the best possible product, however are not responsible for damage that is related.

OUR OBLIGATION
We take our obligation to provide your dessert bar/catering order as agreed in this contract very seriously. We will work with you (in reasonable accommodation) on every level to make sure you are completely satisfied and happy with your dessert spread. However, should an unforeseeable event occur which prevents us from fulfilling our obligation and we must cancel our agreement with you, we will refund your payment in full. In addition, if at all possible we will work with you to find another qualified bakery to assist you with your dessert table and will cooperate in transferring materials to the new baker.
